iOS 17.0 build 21A5312c is the official Beta 6 and Public Beta 4 release of iOS 17, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 15 August 2023.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The "End" button for phone calls has been moved back to the bottom middle, similar to how it was in previous versions of iOS.[2] In earlier betas, it was located on the bottom right.
  • Users can now report phone calls as junk directly from the Phone app.
  • The photo picker in the Messages app can now be brought up by long pressing the "+" icon.
  • Animations for the State of Mind section of the Health app have been improved.
  • In the "Display & Brightness" section of the Settings app, the icons for switching between light and dark appearances have been updated to feature the iOS 17 wallpaper.
