iOS 17.0 build 21A5277h is the official Beta 3 release of iOS 17, which was released to Apple developers on 5 July 2023.[1]
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- Song credits can now be viewed in the Music app, providing in-depth information on associated producers, performing artists, and songwriters.[2] This feature was previously exclusive to the Apple Music Classical app.
- In the "Recently Deleted" album in the Photos app, the "Delete" and "Recover" buttons have been condensed into a single pop-up menu.[3]
- The app picker in the Messages app has been slightly tweaked to show the most recent photo as the icon for the “Photos” button.
- A dedicated option for preserving depth control in the Camera app has been added. Previously, it was grouped with the Creative Controls option.
- The State of Mind section of the Health app received several UI adjustments, such as color matching buttons and improved animations.
- Duotone color options are now available for the Float clock style in StandBy mode.
- Additional customization options for Contact Posters have been added.
- Multiple timers can now be created directly from Control Center.
- New preset color options for adjusting multi-color lights have been added to the Home app.
- The HomeKit device activity feature, first announced at WWDC, has been added.
- Wind maps can now be viewed in the Weather app.
- New icon options for Safari profiles have been added.
- Translation support for the Ukrainian language has been added.
