iOS 16.7.9 build 20H348 is the official RTM build of iOS 16.7.9, which was released to the public on 29 July 2024.[1] Prior to that, it was released six days earlier as the official Release Candidate build to Apple developers and public beta testers.[2] It is only available for devices that are incapable of running iOS 17 or newer.

This build is a security update that patches several existing vulnerabilities.
