iOS 16.4 build 20E5229e is the official Beta 3 release of iOS 16.4, which was released to Apple developers on 7 March 2023, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]

- A separate Apple ID can now be used for installing developer or public betas.[3]
- Apps will now specify if they are incompatible with a Rapid Security Response update.[4]
- A new pop-up has been added to the Books app, which informs users of available customization options.
Findings[edit | edit source]
Code suggested that the ability to merge duplicates from a shared library had been added to the Photos app. This feature would officially become available in the Release Candidate build.
