iOS 16.1 build 20B5050f is the official Beta 2 release of iOS 16.1, which was released to Apple developers on 20 September 2022, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2] It is also the Beta 3 release of iPadOS 16.1.

Changes[edit | edit source]

  • The design of the battery percentage indicator has been updated to show the charge level.[3]
  • Battery percentage has been re-added to the Lock Screen when the device is plugged in.
  • The copy and paste notification bug has been fixed.[4]
