iOS 16.0 build 20A5312j is the official Beta 3 Update release of iOS 16, which was released to Apple developers on 11 July 2022.[1] It was also released as the first public beta on the same day.[2]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The full screen music player on the Lock Screen, which was demonstrated at WWDC 2022, has been implemented.
  • A new indicator for blocked senders has been added to the Mail app.
  • Safari now supports the AVIF image format.
