iOS 14.5 build 18E5194a is the official Beta 6 release of iOS 14.5, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 31 March 2021.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • Several new voice options for Siri have been added.[2]
  • Related to the previous change, setup will now ask the user which Siri voice they would like to use.
  • The Maps app has been updated to display airport safety restrictions.
  • Improvements have been made to battery calibration for the iPhone 11 series.[3]
  • Performance of the "Unlock with Apple Watch" feature has been improved.
