iOS 14.5 build 18E5178a is the official Beta 4 release of iOS 14.5, which was released to Apple developers and public beta testers on 15 March 2021.[1]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The ability to rate locations directly within the Maps app has been added.
  • In the Music app, users can now view an album's release date and associated record label.
  • The MagSafe charging animation has been updated to be colored yellow whenever Low Power Mode is enabled.
  • A message will now be displayed whenever an unknown Lighting accessory is connected.
