iOS 14.5 build 18E5154f is the official Beta 2 release of iOS 14.5, which was released to Apple developers on 16 February 2021, then to public beta testers on the next day.[1][2]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • Several new Emojis have been added, which are apart of the Emoji 13.1 update.
  • A new slide gesture has been added to the Music app for adding songs to the queue.
  • Song lyrics from the Music app can now be shared.
  • Shortcuts now have the ability to take screenshots.
  • The Software Update page in the Settings app has been reverted back to its previous design.
