Fedora Core 3
Fedora Core 3 is a version of Fedora, released on 8 November 2004 under the codename "Heldeberg". It was the first release of Fedora to include the Mozilla Firefox web browser, as well as support for the Indic scripts. This release also saw the LILO boot loader deprecated in favour of GRUB. SELinux was also enabled by default, but with a new targeted policy, which was less strict than the policy used in Fedora Core 2. Fedora Core 3 shipped with GNOME 2.8, KDE 3.3 and XFCE 4.0.6. It was the first release to include the new Fedora Extras repository.
