DR DOS 6.00
DR DOS 6.00 (codenamed Buxton) is a version of DR-DOS, which was released in October 1991. The Basic Disk Operating System (BDOS) version is level 6.7. Password support has been introduced in this version, where the password prompt appears before the user can start using this OS. This version also implements task switcher TASKMAX
allowing the user to switch between DR DOS and other tasks, but SHARE.EXE
has to be loaded first.
The Japanese variant of this version, known as DR DOS 6.0/V was released in July 1992. The Korean variant of this version is also known to exist but is yet to be found.
