Azure Linux, formerly known as CBL-Mariner (Common Base Linux-Mariner) is a Linux distribution developed by Microsoft for internal use in the company's cloud services and products.
On 2 March 2024, the project was renamed from CBL-Mariner to Azure Linux to clarify it's role with Microsoft's cloud infrastructure service.
