Android 1.6 build DRD35 is the official R2 release of Android 1.6, which was released in December 2009. An Android-x86 version was also made available in March 2010.[2]

Changes[3][edit | edit source]

  • Fixed a bug with CDMA-related constants in android.telephony.TelephonyManager.
  • Fixed a bug so that Bitmap's density is now propagated through Parcelable.
  • Fixed NinePatchDrawable to properly scale its reported padding for compatibility mode.
  • Fixes TextView to properly compute styled font metrics based on the screen density.
  • The Linux kernel was updated to 2.6.29.
