A/UX (Apple UNIX) is a UNIX-based 68k operating system developed by Apple, which was released in February 1988. This operating system has a Mac GUI[a] and the ability to run most Macintosh applications. The only emulators that can run this operating system are QEMU and Shoebill.
A/UX is based on UNIX System V Release 2, with BSD extensions.
