Windows 11 build 22631.2115 is a build of Windows 11, version 23H2. It was released to a subset of Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel on 26 July 2023 as the KB5027397 enablement update to build 22621.2115 (KB5028251) for new features included, which may not be enabled by default and instead be rolled out.

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

Narrator[edit | edit source]

Support of Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) for the Narrator detailed reading feature, initially implemented in build 23435, has been backported to this build.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

  • When logging in to Safe mode, explorer.exe may throw an Unknown Hard Error error and get stuck in a crash loop due to the 0xc0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) exception with faulting module HolographicExtensions.dll.
  • The Safely Remove Hardware icon in the system tray on the taskbar may sometimes disappear.
  • The Japanese and Chinese IMEs may not work correctly.
  • The following bugfixes will only apply if the redesigned Home page is enabled:
    • Opening the Home page may lead explorer.exe to crash.
    • The context menu background in File Explorer may appear transparent.
    • The icons on the desktop may appear blank in certain cases.
