Windows Vista build 5421 is a pre-RC1 build of Windows Vista. A screenshot of this build was shown in a MSDN blog called "User Account Control Prompts on the Secure Desktop", along with a screenshot of build 5372.[1] It demonstrated the User Account Control and its effects on the user. The blog later replaced the image of the build with a copy from build 5365.8, however Polish website WinBeta.pl[2] and Russian website TheVista.ru[3] archived the image before it got replaced. Despite the build number being higher than the official Beta 2 build, it was compiled several weeks earlier, in a similar fashion to build 5712.
