Windows Vista build 5059 (vbl_ux_dev_checkin) is a pre-Beta 1 build of Windows Vista. This build was demonstrated at WinHEC 2005 among other builds, showing the new and improved desktop search and scalable icons. It looks very similar to build 5098 and afterwards other than the Recycle Bin icon, and is among one of the first builds to use the new black Aero theme. This build remains unleaked as of 2024, just like with all other builds in the vbl_ux_dev_checkin branch. It also removes the Longhorn logo from the default wallpaper seen in 5054 and other builds.
