Windows Server 2016 build 14283 (rs1_onecore_container_hyp) is a build of Windows Server 2016. This build was shared as a .WIM file containing the Datacenter Core SKU in the x64 architecture.
The build notably uses Windows Embedded 8 branding, and is also the last build to use it.
Container image[edit | edit source]
This build's Server Core image has been optimized for use in a container. By default, it does not spawn an interactive session on boot, the Administrator account is password-protected and networking services are disabled compared to regular desktop builds.
Before booting into the build, the number of initial sessions also has to be increased, otherwise the system will be seemingly stuck on the boot screen:[a]
