About dialog | |
Windows 3.02 is a version of Windows 3.0 based on Windows 3.0A, which was released for the Japanese market on 22 November 1991 for the IBM PS/55 system. This version requires a Japanese version of MS-DOS.
Changes[edit | edit source]
- The Sound Control Panel applet has a different icon.
- Due to being optimized for the IBM PS/55, many drivers seen in usual releases of Windows 3.0 are missing. For example, only the PS/55 keyboard with the Japanese layout can be set and the only display adapters which are available are VGA, XGA and the PS/55 one, though it is possible to use other drivers instead.
