Bugfixes[edit | edit source]

  • Fixed an issue that was causing video stutters in some apps and possibly impacting FPS in some games in build 26085.
  • Fixed an explorer.exe crash impacting taskbar reliability.
  • Fixed an explorer.exe crash when dragging windows.
  • Fixed an underlying issue that was causing the bottom half of secondary monitors to be unusable sometimes.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing File Explorer tabs to be missing in certain cases.
  • Fixed an issue where Task Manager was holding onto process handles sometimes, leading to processes not stopping when closing apps if users had Task Manager open.

Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]

General[edit | edit source]

  • Shutdown and hibernation may not work correctly on certain devices, thus resulting in logging out and back in.
  • Users may unable to perform an in-place upgrade to this build from builds 26040, 23620 or earlier in certain cases.

Shell[edit | edit source]

Text on highlighted items in Microsoft Management Console and some of its snap-ins may have a yellow color.

Copilot[edit | edit source]

  • Voice access and Windows Ink may not work reliably if the undocking experience for Copilot is enabled.
  • Users may unable to bring focus to the ellipsis or Refresh buttons by using a keyboard if the undocking experience for Copilot is enabled.
  • When Copilot is docked and resized to a large width, it may not always fill the width of the panel. Resizing Copilot to less than half of the width of the screen usually fixes this issue.

Updates[edit | edit source]

  • 26090.112.ge_release_svc_prod3.240323-2102 (KB5037477)
