Windows 10 build 19041.1 is the base build for most subsequent builds of Windows 10 May 2020 Update as well as later versions of Windows 10. This build was released to Windows Insiders in both the Fast and Slow rings on 10 December 2019.

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue resulting in an increased number of users experiencing rollbacks (error code 0xc1900101) when upgrading to recent builds.
- Fixed an issue from recent builds that could result in a crash when trying to log into a secondary account on your device.
- Fixed an issue when using the Japanese IME in certain Office apps that could result in the candidate window not appearing when using reconversion.
- Fixed an issue that could result in Win32 apps experiencing an unexpected increase in CPU usage if left idle after having opened the Common File Dialog.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
- The update process to this build has a chance of hanging for extended periods of time.
- When certain external USB 3.0 drives are attached, they stop responding with Start Code 10.
- Drive Optimizer incorrectly reports that optimization was never run on an SSD device.
- Narrator Home crashes when the "What's New" option is selected.
- In the Team SKU (which can be built from October 2020 (Team 2020) update's UUP packages if exclude updates.), start button is not working.
