macOS High Sierra build 17A405 is an updated RTM build of macOS High Sierra that was released to fix a bug in the original RTM build, as it was possible for passwords used in an encrypted APFS container to be leaked in the hint box when unlocking a partition. Apple recommended that affected encrypted containers be backed-up and deleted, then re-created from the backup with a new password.[1]
