iOS 14.0 build 18A5342e is the official Beta 4 and Public Beta 3 release of iOS 14, which was released to Apple developers on 4 August 2020, then to public beta testers a few days later.[1][2]

New features and changes[edit | edit source]

  • The Apple TV widget has been added.
  • A smaller sized Shortcuts widget has been added.
  • Spotlight Search received significant improvements.
  • Volume and brightness sliders in Control Center will take up additional space when in landscape mode.
  • A second confirmation prompt has been added for deleting an application.
  • 3D Touch has been re-enabled for compatible devices.
  • Support for the VP9 video codec has been added.
  • The Exposure Notifications API has been added.
