|Build of Windows XP|
|Timebomb||2001-10-15 (+180 days)|
Windows XP build 2467 is an unconfirmed build of Windows XP. It is known to use the setup design from the RTM and possibly an overhauled OOBE.
There are some screenshots that is on BetaArchive attributed to KenOath, but their credibility is dubious. KenOath's screenshots has shown Server features on the build, such as the lack of the new login screen, System Restore, and other client features. It might be possible that the images are of this build's server counterpart with modifications to change the SKU.
On 2019-11-25, a presumed real version of this build was released. It was later found to be a modified version of build 2465 with files from the Server build 2467.
Bugs[edit | edit source]
Installation[edit | edit source]
Many drivers will report a Windows Logo Testing warning during installation; all of these prompts must be answered with "Yes" to install the drivers properly. Despite that, many drivers aren't installed by default during the setup and have to be installed manually.
Broken OOBE[edit | edit source]
The OOBE is highly unstable, and many portions of the OOBE is missing or can error out. The user must also skip the account creation step of the OOBE by selecting "No" on the screen prior to it, otherwise the OOBE will get stuck on the account creation screen and the only way out is to press Shift+F10, type
taskmgr on the command prompt window, and then kill the process
