Windows 11 build 27783 is a build of Selenium, the 25H2 development semester of Windows as a service. It was released to the Windows Insiders in the Canary Channel on 29 January 2025.

The following previously introduced features and changes have been gradually rolled out:
- New Ctrl+Alt+- keyboard shortcut in Magnifier for quickly toggling between the current zoom and 1× zoom (initially implemented in build 22635.4515 and can be activated manually by enabling the

Bugfixes[edit | edit source]
- Fixed an issue that was causing the taskbar preview windows to not display sometimes when hovering over open apps on the taskbar.
- Fixed an issue where switching between windows may unexpectedly switch the Pinyin IME from Chinese to English.
- Fixed an underlying issue that was leading to unexpected app window freezes when switching between certain types of apps via Alt+Tab ↹.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Settings app to crash when navigating to System → Display → Graphics in certain cases.
- Fixed an issue that was causing Remote Desktop Connection to fail to initialize with the

error in build 27774. - Fixed an issue that was causing Remote Desktop to show significant display / rendering issues when connecting to certain other computers.
- Fixed an underlying issue that was causing an
explorer.exe
memory leak, leading to performance issues over time. - Fixed an issue that was causing the
shutdown /r /fw
command to not work sometimes.
Bugs and quirks[edit | edit source]
- Enrolling to the Windows Insider Program on a new Copilot+ PC may cause Windows Hello PIN and biometrics to fail with the
0xd0000225
("Something went wrong, and your PIN isn't available") error. - Text on highlighted items in Microsoft Management Console and some of its snap-ins may have a yellow color.
- When opening and then minimizing a File Explorer window, the window may not render correctly when restoring it.
- The
sfc /scannow
command may show errors every time it runs. - Hyper-V and other features which rely on it (such as Windows Subsystem for Linux) may not work properly.
- System initialization will fail with
PHASE0_EXCEPTION
bugcheck if booted on CIX P1 CD8180 processor with multi-core configuration enabled.
