Windows 10 build 19013 is the thirty-fifth Insider Preview build of Windows 10 May 2020 Update. This build was released to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring on 29 October 2019.

Changes[edit | edit source]

The tablet posture improvements introduced as an experiment to Windows Insiders starting with build 18970 were removed in this build. They would later return to Insiders in the Fast ring starting with Manganese build 19592, while consumers later had them too in the final release with build 19041.329.
Added more kaomoji.
When the RAM is no longer in use in a Linux session in WSL2, the system gives the used memory back to Windows.

Bugs[edit | edit source]

The BattlEye anti-cheat software has some incompatibility issues due to changes in the operating system between some Insider Preview builds and certain versions.
On some configurations, you can't launch Settings outside of launching via the URI (ms-settings:).
When using this build from a Remote Desktop session, after a certain time (usually an hour), DWM may start crashing, and the session window will either go completely black, experience black flashes, or being signed out of the remote desktop session altogether.
On certain configurations, the Settings app may either hang or crash when accessing the System or Ease of Access sections. This is due to a bug relating to the display settings.
Certain fingerprint readers do not work on this build.
