Mac System Software 3.4 is the sixth and last release of Mac System Software 3.x. It was released in early 1988 for the Macintosh 512Ke, a year after 3.3. It appears the only point of this version was to add AppleShare 2.0 support to System 3 that could be run on the 512Ke.

- This build uses the new design of the about box introduced in Mac System Software 5.x.
- The copyright date has been updated as well, from 1987 to 1983-88.
