File talk:Running Windows NT 4.0 Server.jpg

Image quality[edit source]

Did this image violate the guidelines? It seems it was taken from a phone and the guest OS is at 640x480x4 in the emulator. Bubblebeam (will be renamed to Uncle Captain on 16 May 2022) (talk) 21:01, 10 April 2022 (UTC)

Maybe the creator of this image used "vga" as display type of QEMU/Limbo. I used this emulator for a while, but I was unable to install NT 3 and 4, since I don't have a USB keyboard to use the F8 keys to accept the EULA and the arrow keys to navigate through tet-mode setup (I have a PS/2 keyboard and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, but not a PS/2 to USB adapter). I only clean installed Windows 95 (mainly OSR2) and Windows 2000, XP and Longhorn through upgrading from 95/2000 (Windows 98 and Me have serious problems regarding hardware (Me) and protection errors and bluescreens (98 and 98SE)) and 2000s Linux. It is better to install NT4 using "cirrus" as display type. With this, you can reach 1024x768x16 and 640x480x32 (tested on 95). - 2.206.236.98 - 23:40, 10 April 2022 (UTC)
