BetaWiki:Delete requests/Archived/2018-11-28/Windows 10 build 9622

This page has absolutely no source, it's just another pointless "this user says they have this build but not else is known about it and he didn't leak screenshots" page. Until a source or screenshot of this build can be added, there is no need for this page. BF10 (talk) 14:00, 27 November 2018 (GMT)

  4. Now that's finally written properly. I knew that it was not even a Windows 10 build when I searched it up. As a result, the page needs to be moved without a redirect. BF10 (talk) 20:48, 27 November 2018 (GMT)

Discussion

Several journos have reported on this build (Softpedia even links to the original PCBeta thread). As far as I am concerned, this is enough to warrant an article. It should be moved to Windows 8.1 though, because this is supposed to be a "Blue" build. --AlphaBeta (talk) 17:56, 27 November 2018 (GMT)

Just checked the article discussed. That is actually eligible for a QD... --AlphaBeta (talk) 18:01, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
Improved the article a bit, please reconsider your votes. As I said, it should be moved to something like "Windows 9 build 9622". --AlphaBeta (talk) 19:35, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
One question: How would Windows 9 be considered to be linked to? Make a new article for Windows 9 or link it to Windows 8.1? Even though Windows 10 is sometimes referred as Windows 9, the compilation date of 2012 makes using Windows 10 as the link absurd. BF10 (talk) 20:48, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
Thing is, back in 2012-12 it was already established that the next release would be codenamed "Blue". We also had Canouna claiming that there was a team working on "Blue" and another team working on the next release called "9" that would come after Blue - the user could be referring to that post-Blue release. --AlphaBeta (talk) 23:21, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
Added the build to Windows 8.1 for now.--AlphaBeta (talk) 11:35, 28 November 2018 (GMT)

"if screenshots are fake." Uh, you don't realize we document fakes on BetaWiki as well, do you? --AlphaBeta (talk) 19:35, 27 November 2018 (GMT)

Actually I suggest we keep this after the rewrite. It looks good now. And by the way, what screenshots? Am I missing something here? --ATeamInc (talk) 19:50, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
There are no screenshots. The user said that they can't post any screenshots due to the NDA. --AlphaBeta (talk) 20:01, 27 November 2018 (GMT)
