Windows Home Server

This server operating system released in 2007 to help families back up important information using a server. It was codenamed 'Quattro', based on the Windows Server 2003 codebase, and released around the same time as Windows Vista. This version was quite short-lived, ending support in 2013-01-08. It was succeeded with Windows Home Server 2011.
Users can log on remotely, can have personal file shares on the server, and can post images to the web using the embedded website function (Remote Access)
Along with the launch of Windows Home Server, a book was released for publicity, "Mommy, Why is There a Server in the House?"
