This build doesn't have much changes since its predeccesor Windows 98 First Edition (somewhere noted as Gold RTM). This is the second beta version of Windows 98 SE (Second Edition). As all other 9x builds, it includes a timebomb.

== Installation ==
For installation, you will need either MS DOS 6.22 boot disk or any other 9x boot disk and the .iso image of this build. The ISO file needs to be fixed, because the setup directory is named in lowercase which MS-DOS doesn't support. To fix it simply rename the "win98" directory in the root of the image to "WIN98". After that, the CD can be read by MS-DOS.

Follow these steps to install this build:

1.Change the BIOS Date to 17/12/1998.

2.Insert boot diskette

3.Type "fdisk" and make a partition to install this build on.

4.After restart, do "format c:" and confirm by pressing "Y"

5.Type the CD drive letter (usually R: or E:), then type "cd win98"

6.Now type "setup" and follow on screen instructions

== Basic information ==
This build doesn't have much changes since its predeccesor Windows 98 First Edition (somewhere noted as Gold RTM). This is second beta version of Windows 98 SE (Second Edition RTM). As all other 9x builds, it includes timebomb.
== Install information ==
For installation, you will need MS DOS 6.22 boot disk or any other 9x boot disk and .iso file of this build. ISO file needs to be fixed because setup directory is written in lowercase which MS DOS doesn't support. Fixing is done by renaming "win98" directory on the root of .ISO to "WIN98".After that CD can be read by MS DOS.

Steps for installation are following:

1.Change the BIOS Date to 17/12/1998.

2.Insert boot diskette

3.Type "fdisk" and make partition which this build will install on.

4.After restart, you will want to "format c:" and confirm by pressing "Y"

5.Type CD drive letter (usually R: or E:), and type "cd win98"

6.Now type "setup" and follow on screen instructions
