Windows Server, version 20H2 is the server counterpart of Windows 10 October 2020 Update, which was released on 20 October 2020. Similarly to its client counterpart, it was released in the form of a cumulative update for Windows Server, version 2004. Support for the operating system ended on 9 August 2022.

It is the last Semi-Annual Channel release of Windows Server, as Microsoft discontinued the release cycle in July 2021 to focus solely on Long-Term Servicing Channel releases starting with Windows Server 2022.[1] Microsoft recommends customers who are still using the Semi-Annual Channel releases to move to Azure Stack HCI or the Long-Term Servicing Channel of Windows Server.[2]
